Un evento europeo para homenajear a los jugadores y personas de la industria del poker, organizado hasta ahora por la revista Poker52 y el Aviation Club de France (ACF).

Para su 12ª edición, la ceremonia del GPI European Poker Awards reunió todo el mejor del poker europeo en el Aviation Club de France (ACF), un famoso club de poker parisino en los Champs Elysées.

Este año fue presentado por la presentadora y jugadora de poker, Kara Scott.

Los premios a mejor jugador de poker del año 2012 fueron entregados a:

Player of the Year Francia: Bertrand “Elky” Grosspellier

Player of the Year Alemania: Marvin Rettenmaier

Player of the Year Reino Unido: Roberto Romanello

Player of the Year Bélgica: Davidi Kitai

Player of the Year Irlanda: Dermont Blain

Player of the Year Finlandia: Juha Hellpi

Player of the Year Italia: Andrea Dato

Player of the Year Austria: Ivo Donev

Player of the Year España: César García

Mejor Performance en Torneo (Best Tournament Performance of the Year): Davidi Kitai

Jugadora Europea del Año (Europes Leading Lady): Lucille Cailly

Jugador Online del Año (Internet Player of the Year): Jens “Jeans89” Kyllönen

Persona de Poker Staff del año (Poker Staff Person of the Year): Simon Trumper

Personalidad del Año (Rob Gardner Memorial Award for Poker Personality of the Year): Kara Scott

Mejor Evento del Año (Best Tournament of the Year): European Poker Tour Barcelona

Jugador del año (GPI Player of the Year): Marvin Rettenmaier

Premio a la trayectoria (Lifetime Achievement Award): Gus Hansen
